Every year I make new years resolutions, with things I hope to stick to, and usually don’t. So this year I thought I’d try something different, and share what my wishes are for the year ahead.
Last year we moved into our flat in July, and still we haven’t finished decorating or getting it to how we want it. This year I’m hoping to finish decorating, get some pictures up on the walls, and fix a few things that need doing.
2015 was a great year, but after being a really expensive year, money has been a little tight. Last year we started trying to work out what our money goes on, and how we can hopefully save a bit of money. This year I’m hoping that we can make it to the end of the month and still have money, as well as hopefully getting some more savings together.
Me and Chris have never been a real holiday, so hopefully if we can get some savings together we can afford a holiday together this year! I’m not expecting us to be able to afford some super holiday of a lifetime, but a short trip somewhere abroad would be lovely.
I’ve been trying to lose weight for a while now, and failing, and towards the end of 2015 I joined Slimming World. It’s pretty easy to follow, but over the Christmas season I did gain a fair bit. This year I’m hoping to get my act together with it and actually lose some weight!
2015 wasn’t the best of years for me, and I did have a lot of problems with depression and anxiety. This year I’m hoping to to overcome these problems, and hopefully be a lot happier.
Back in 2014 I learnt to knit and spent hours making new things, but in 2015 I didn’t make much time for any crafty projects. This year is pretty exciting because my new niece or nephew is due in July, and what a better excuse to make new things for, so I want to get on with more crafty projects this year.
Learn Something New
This year I want to learn something new, I’m not sure what yet, but it’ll be pretty fun to learn something new!

Ah Netflix, my one true love. I remember when Chris introduced me to it in our second year of uni when it had first came over to the UK. Gone were my days of having to search Google for the films and TV shows I wanted to watch, instead they were all there in one…
One thing I love about being a homeowner is that I can decorate however I like. If I feel like changing my whole bathroom, or want to put something up on the wall, I can do it. I’m quite glad I haven’t had much experience of renting, but from what experiences I’ve heard from my…
A fiver doesn’t seem to get you anywhere these days on the surface of things, and yet you’d be surprised at just how far it can actually go when you really put your imagination to it! Here are five things you can do for less than a fiver. Online Slots/Pokies Playing games online isn’t something I’d have…
Life has been very busy lately with the run up to Christmas and a very busy day job, so the blog has got a bit neglected, and luckily for me Laura came about just at the right time offering me a guest post! Laura writes at six out of ten, an online lifestyle and travel magazine for…
It’s always interesting to look back on my new years resolutions at the end of the year and see if I managed to stick to them. Last year I wrote this post about my new years resolutions, and what I wanted to achieve in 2014, lets see if I stuck to them! Get a real job Did…
