Every year I make new years resolutions, with things I hope to stick to, and usually don’t. So this year I thought I’d try something different, and share what my wishes are for the year ahead.
Last year we moved into our flat in July, and still we haven’t finished decorating or getting it to how we want it. This year I’m hoping to finish decorating, get some pictures up on the walls, and fix a few things that need doing.
2015 was a great year, but after being a really expensive year, money has been a little tight. Last year we started trying to work out what our money goes on, and how we can hopefully save a bit of money. This year I’m hoping that we can make it to the end of the month and still have money, as well as hopefully getting some more savings together.
Me and Chris have never been a real holiday, so hopefully if we can get some savings together we can afford a holiday together this year! I’m not expecting us to be able to afford some super holiday of a lifetime, but a short trip somewhere abroad would be lovely.
I’ve been trying to lose weight for a while now, and failing, and towards the end of 2015 I joined Slimming World. It’s pretty easy to follow, but over the Christmas season I did gain a fair bit. This year I’m hoping to get my act together with it and actually lose some weight!
2015 wasn’t the best of years for me, and I did have a lot of problems with depression and anxiety. This year I’m hoping to to overcome these problems, and hopefully be a lot happier.
Back in 2014 I learnt to knit and spent hours making new things, but in 2015 I didn’t make much time for any crafty projects. This year is pretty exciting because my new niece or nephew is due in July, and what a better excuse to make new things for, so I want to get on with more crafty projects this year.
Learn Something New
This year I want to learn something new, I’m not sure what yet, but it’ll be pretty fun to learn something new!
So today my little blog turns 1! A whole year has passed since I decided to set up my little blog, and I honestly didn’t think I’d still be posting now a year on! I set up my blog as I was a bored student with too much time on my hands. That and…
I’ve been blogging for a while now, and now I’m really starting to get into to it, I realised I never wrote about myself really. I was just so eager to start blogging about make up and nail varnish, I never really spoke about myself. I’ve seen this on quite a few blogs, so I…
Excuse the Blink 182 reference but today is my 23rd birthday! 23 has always felt like an age I should have figured my life out by, like I should be a proper grown up adult. Although that’s not quite the case I’m still going to enjoy my birthday! Sadly I’m spending the day at work,…
Do you often find yourself lusting over recent fashion trends but find that their usually far too expensive or completely out of your budget? Recent research from Travelex has shown that some fashion loving Brits head over to the Eurozone and even the Nordics, just to save money on the latest catwalk trends. Sounds crazy right? But…
Recently I’ve been on a mission to lose a little weight. I’ve tried most diets in the past, but I usually fail or end up giving up before I get a chance to finish them. I’m officially the worst person at diets. One diet that I’ve never tried before is a meal replacement diet, but…
A while ago I decided to take part in Oasis Dental Care’s 30 day coffee challenge, where for 30 days I stop drinking coffee to discover the effects and benefits of abstaining from coffee. Anyone who knows me in real life knows that I’m obsessive with my teeth. I’ve had three different sets of braces,…
